The chief judges of the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin have appointed Michelle Jacobs to a three-year term on the Board of Directors for the Federal Defender Services of Wisconsin (FDSW). The FDSW represents indigent clients who are charged with federal crimes and also oversees the appointment of private lawyers to fulfill that same role.
