The Eastern District of Wisconsin Bar Association (EDWBA) presented Michelle Jacobs with the Judge Robert W. Warren Public Service Award during its 17th Annual Meeting on April 15, 2019. The EDWBA recognized Jacobs for her 17 years of public service in the U.S. Attorney’s Office, her numerous criminal-defense appointments for both the Eastern District of Wisconsin and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals while in private practice, her leading roles on several influential legal committees and organizations, and her informal mentoring of female attorneys.
